"Resurrection"

Like a vacant flat,

the cross,

slim and polished,

reflecting odd shades of stained light,

hung, slightly askew.

Perfect grain,

no knots to give it character,

no old nail holes to suggest its use,

no nicks,

no worn corners from being dragged along the street,

no stains,

it just hung there, pristine,

unblemished,

but most of all,

unoccupied.

Coffee House and Open Mic Night

If you missed the first "Peanut Butter and Jam" coffee house and open mic night last month, mark Sunday, March 20th at 7:00 PM on your calendar now! It is my hope that the event is going to become a regular fixture at the church. We are working with Eagle Psalms, the music group who put on the Christmas sing-along here in December, to organize the event. It is a time of music and fun that is suitable for the whole family. It is a free event, but those who wish can make a donation at the event to support Community Missions. I hope you will make time to come out for the fun and fellowship.

Preach the Gospel at all times.

If necessary, use words.
